Duration – 14 Days
Qualification Purpose: This qualification is intended for those who work in, or want to work within the field of event venues, event organisation and event exhibitions.
The qualification comprises of 8 Units:
U1 – Understanding the events industry
U2 – Understanding how to research and report information to plan and organise an event
U3 – Understanding operational event planning
U4 – Understanding health, safety and security at events sites
U5 – Understanding event set up and breakdown
U6 – Understanding how to manage the running of an event
U7 – Understanding event evaluation and reporting
U8 – Understanding working relationships in the events industry

Assessment: This qualification is assessed by the following methods: portfolio of evidence, short answer questions, products of work and observational assessments. All learners will have to build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate and document the required knowledge, skills and behaviours to be able to achieve this qualification.

Pre-requisites:

1. Learners should have at least a Level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent
2. Learners should be at least 18 years old in order to undertake the qualification
3. Learners need to be able to provide at least one form of photographic identification or two forms of non-photographic identification.
